Jackie O'Keefe, ABOC, is licensed in the states of Massachusetts and Virginia
and has been practicing Opticianry for over 26 years. Jackie
is Contributing Writer and Editor for Vision Care Product
News and consults in the Virginia Beach, VA area. She has
written, published and presented numerous courses and lectures
on a variety of optical topics for state societies and most
recently at International Vision Expo and SECO International.
She has been active in the International Association of Lions
Clubs, a volunteer for Maine's Prevention of Blindness
Programs, Inc. and is on the speakers' bureau for the Suicide
Prevention Awareness & Resource Council. Jackie is Second
Vice President of the Opticians Association of Virginia and a
founding member and Past President of the Opticians
Association of Maine.

Professor Robert J. Russo is the chairperson
of Vision Care Technology and the contact
lens coordinator at New York City College of Technology, Brooklyn,
NY. He is certified by the American Board
of Opticianry, the National Contact Lens Examiners, the Opticians
Association of Americain Refractometry and is licensed in the states
of New York and New Jersey. He is
a past Commissioner for the Commissionry on Opticianry Accreditation, a past
member of the Board of Directors of the Contact Lens

Society
of New York State, and past chapter president of New York
State Society of Opticians. In addition, he has served on the
faculty of the Opticians Association of America, Vision Expo
East and West, and EyeQuest. Professor Russo is a contact lens
consultant and specializes in
hard-to-fit contact lens cases. He received an Associate
Degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing from New York Community
College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management
from the City University of New York, and
a Master of Arts degree in Education
from New York University. Bob lectures throughout the United States
on contact lens-related topics.
